Niki vonHedemann

I am the Human Dimensions Specialist at the Ecological Restoration Institute (ERI) based at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. ERI is one of three Southwest Ecological Restoration Institutes (SWERI) and aims to provide applied science to support ecological restoration and climate adaptation on Western US forest landscapes.

I was previously a research associate in the Department of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship at Colorado State University, working for the Public Lands Policy Group (PLPG) and the Climate Adaptation Partnership (CAP). I received my Ph.D. (January 2019) at the University of Arizona in the School of Geography, Development and Environment with a minor in Natural Resources. This website presents my research and teaching experience and interests.
